Defending Champion qualifies...

Ross Wallin once again, in a repeat of last year, took down the NYC table beating table captain Eric Johnson in heads up play. He rejoins Daniel Rush, the first NoVA winner, on the Dead Money final table for the second year in a row. The first Austin table winner Brad Fleet is also a return qualifier. Tom Cahill, is the only player so far who didn't play on last year's table. He is a newbie but that didn't stop him from taking down the Delaware table.

That's four winners who have qualified.

Tables still scheduled:
Daniel Rush: NOVA 2
Robert Pollaro: Upper NJ
Jim Gaffney: Jersey Shore
Taylor Ainge: Bethesda
David Akers: Cleveland
Gene D: Houma
Ed B: Metro NYC
Martin T: Austin 2 (running this wednesday)
Bill P: Last Chance Table

Maybes:
Mustang Mike, Morgan City
Mike D, Delaware 2
Jeff K, DC

I haven't heard back from a number of you guys to know where we are, so give me an update. If some of the scheduled fall through we'll be walking a fine line. If all play we'll be in good shape.

To review:
I need $1100 and a table winner in New Orleans Martin Luther King Weekend. If you are some distance away, I'd recommend raising a few hundred dollars to cover travel and hotel expenses and give that to your winner in cash. Winner of the final table gets a 10k buy-in to the WSOP Main Event plus 1k in travel (unless we fall short of ~11 tables). If first place can't play... the prize goes to the second place finisher and down the line. There is no cash subsitute. All satellite tables should enforce the same rule for our final table.
