I structured the tournament for 18 players with $125 buy-in. This let me pay the winner $1100 entry and $500 travel 2nd place got $600 and 3rd place made $300. Our group said the additional payouts helped them decide to play instead of winner take all. Just a thought for any table captains struggling to put a table together.
